Add your Buddy Icon to AIM

OK, so you have made your own buddy icon and now want to add it to your AIM setup. Here is how to do just that. Fortunately that is a lot simpler than the process to make your own buddy icons.

Buddy Icons For PCs

1. From the AIM window, click on "My AIM."
2. Select "Edit Options," then "Edit Preferences."
3. Find and click on "Buddy Icon" in the window that pops up.
4. Click Browse PC to find the graphic file.
5. Click on the file to highlight it and hit "OK."

Buddy Icons For Macs:

1. From the AIM Edit menu, select Preferences.
2. In Preferences, select Buddy Icons.
3. Click on "Reveal Icons Folder."
4. Once open, drag the saved icon into the window.
5. Select desired icon from the pull-down menu.
